PORT CLINTON, Ohio, July 14, 2022 — There may not be any snow on the ground, but the holiday season is in full swing at African Safari Wildlife Park with yuletide surprises for animals and people alike.

As part of its 12-day Christmas in July celebration, beginning today and running through Monday, July 25, the Park is giving away a total of $700 in gift cards to local gas stations, Amazon and Home Depot. Sixteen lucky Park guests will be selected to win at random.

General admission is available for $18.25 (a savings of up to $11.70 per person) on the Park’s website, www.africansafariwildlifepark.com. Tickets purchased through this promotion are valid through the end of the Park’s 2022 season.

On Monday, July 18, the Park is hosting an “Enrichment Day” event. Guests will have the opportunity to work alongside keepers to build enrichment items, then watch the Park’s animals “unwrap” with their creations.

“Being a warm-weather attraction, the Park is always closed to the public around Christmas,” said Kelsey Keller, the Park’s director. “This is a fun way for us to spread holiday cheer to our guests.”
