PORT CLINTON, Ohio, April 21, 2022 – African Safari Wildlife Park is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday April 29th at 4 PM to celebrate the opening of a brand new playground and picnic area for the 2022 season!

African Safari Wildlife Park would like to invite the local community to join the celebration! The new playground is located in the Walk-Thru Safari between the Camel Ride Station and the Kangaroo/Wallaby Exhibit.

The Park continues its lifelong Mission of providing Guests with an interactive animal experience while promoting the appreciation of wildlife. We are excited to enhance this space that all Guests can enjoy together.

Currently the Park is in its Spring Operational Season and is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, with the last car admitted at 4PM.

The Park begins its regular Summer Season on May 27th, 2022. The start of Summer Season means all animals will be out on exhibit, Educational Animal Programs, Activities, and the Safari Cafe are open and running daily through September 5, 2022. Summer Hours are 9 AM to 7 PM with the last car admitted at 6 PM.
