Capybara Encounter

WHO:

• Animal enthusiasts and Capybara lovers!
• Guests ages 3–15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Guests under three years of age are not permitted.
• Participants must be able to traverse uneven, possibly muddy substrate.

WHAT: 

• A 10-minute encounter with our lovable Capybaras! Feed them a snack, feel their coarse fur and learn all about the world’s largest rodent. You may even get the chance to give a Capybara a belly rub!
• Limited to seven guests per Encounter.
• General admission to the Park, which is not included, is required to participate in this Encounter. Click here to purchase general admission.
• A Capybara Encounter ticket is required for each participant, including those who wish to take pictures.
• The Encounter will operate as scheduled, weather permitting. If the weather does not allow for the Encounter to take place, we will offer to reschedule or issue a refund for your Encounter. Please visit the Safari Gift Shop for assistance.
• Guests must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in this Encounter.

WHEN:

• Encounters take place several times each day between late spring and early fall.
• We recommend booking your Encounter in advance online. Encounters may be booked at the Park on the day of your visit if space remains.
• Please arrive at the Encounter location no later than your start time to ensure your experience begins on time.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR EXPERIENCE:

1. Book below by first selecting how many guests will be in your party, then select “choose dates.”
2. Select which day and timeslot you want to have your Encounter.
3. Fill out your contact information (purchaser information) and purchase your Encounter tickets!
