Safari Secrets Giraffe Barn Experience

WHO:

• Animal enthusiasts and Giraffe lovers!
• Guests ages 7–15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Guests under seven years of age are not permitted.
• Participants must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.

WHAT: 

• A 40-minute VIP behind-the-scenes experience in our brand-new Giraffe barn!
• Take a ride back to the barn for a keeper-led tour this state-of-the-art facility. See what it takes to feed, train and clean up after these gentle giants, and learn how we prepare them to participate in their own veterinary care.
• Stand eye-to-eye with our Giraffe tower and feed them all the lettuce you’d like!
• End your experience by making animal enrichment items or participating in a training session.
• Limited to six guests per tour.
• Participants must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs.
• This tour may require standing, reaching or crouching.
• General admission to the Park is not included or required to participate in this Encounter.
• An Encounter ticket is required for each participant, including those who wish to take pictures.
• Guests must wear closed-toe shoes to participate in this Encounter. Shoes with holes (such as Crocs) are not acceptable.
• Take unlimited selfies and make memories that will last a lifetime! Remember to tag us at @africansafariwildlifepark.

WHEN:

• This tour takes place at 10 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Tours must be booked in advance online.
• Please arrive at the Park no later than five minutes prior to your tour start time to ensure the tour begins on time. Upon arrival, walk up to the administration building on the right (south) side of the parking lot and wait by the bench.

• You may be driven to the barn in an open-air golf cart. The barn is a warm, humid environment with animal aromas. Please prepare for your experience accordingly.
