Here are some things you should know when planning your visit:
- Walk-Thru entrance is through the Gift Shop
- The Walk-Thru Safari is open seasonally from mid-May through early October.
- Access to the Walk-Thru Safari is included with General Admission.
- Animals are on special diets and may only be fed approved food during scheduled encounters. Please do not feed animals food from the Drive-Thru Safari.
Walk-Thru Safari Animal Feedings
Aviary Adventure
Make some feathered friends! Meet and feed hundreds of Colorful budgies in a tranquil environment. Purchase Budgie Feed Sticks at Aviary Adventure: 1 stick for $3 or 2 Sticks for $5.
Brian’s Barnyard Goat Feeding
Meet and feed more than a dozen friendly goats in the brand-new section of the Walk-Thru. Goat feed can be purchased at Brian’s Barn Yard: 1 cup for $3 or 2 cups for $5.
Tortoise Feeding
Meet one of the world’s oldest and most fascinating animals during our Tortoise Feeding experience! Get up close as you hand-feed these gentle giants! Feedings can be purchased at Tortoise feeding for $6 per person.
Walk-Thru Giraffe Feeding
Experience these giants like never before! Stand toe to toe with the world’s tallest animal! Feed these animals and get the perfect Giraffe photo. Feeding is $6 per party and includes a private photo op with the Giraffe and 3 pieces of romaine lettuce.
African Crested Porcupine Feeding
Get face-to-face with one of Africa’s most unique mammals during our African Crested Porcupine Feeding! Offer these curious, quill-covered animals a tasty snack while learning fun facts about their incredible defenses, behaviors, and personalities. Feeding is $6 per person.
Zoo-it-all Animal Feeding Pass
Want to “Zoo-it-All” and feed all the animals in the Walk-Thru? Purchase a Zoo-It-All pass from the Gift Shop or Goat feeding station and get to feed the Budgies, Giraffe, Goats, Porcupines and Tortoises for only $20!
